We use a necessary sign-in cookie if you have an account. Analytics and advertising cookies are optional and stay off until you accept them on the banner.

This page explains cookies and similar storage on F1RaceDraft (www.f1racedraft.com). The Site is intended for people aged 18 or over. Read it with our Privacy notice. F1RaceDraft is operated by Blackbird Corporation. Privacy and legal contact: hello@blackbirdcorporation.com. Place of operation stated on the Site: Ireland. Questions: hello@blackbirdcorporation.com.
Sign-in cookie (necessary). If you create an account, we set gridrival_auth — a secure, HTTP-only session cookie so you stay signed in as you move around the Site. It is not readable by JavaScript on this Site or by other websites. Flags: HttpOnly; SameSite=Lax; Path=/; Secure in production (including Vercel). It lasts 30 days or until you sign out. Without it, leagues and saved picks on the server cannot work.
On this device (not cookies). Your browser may store a local copy of weekend teams and championship picks, a random paddock id for this tab (the “in the paddock” count), and Lights Out / Pit Stop bests for this session. Those copies stay on your device. Clearing this site’s storage removes them. Signed-in teams also live on our servers so you can pick up on another phone.
Google Analytics (optional). A cookie banner asks you to accept or refuse it. If you accept, we load Google’s gtag.js with measurement ID G-JR9N6NPZ1K. Google may set first-party cookies such as _ga so we can see page views. We do not send your account email in that tag.
Vercel Web Analytics (no cookie). The Site also counts page views through Vercel. If you arrive from a tagged link, the source and medium (for example utm_source=x) are included so we can see which post brought the visit. No analytics cookie is set and your account email is not sent.
Google advertising (optional). If you accept advertising cookies, Google AdSense and its partners may set cookies (including advertising cookies) to serve ads on this Site, measure them, and — if you allow personalised ads — tailor them using prior visits to this Site or other sites. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. See also How Google uses data when you use our partners’ sites.
Adsterra advertising (optional in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland). Adsterra (Profitableratecpmnetwork) and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver and measure in-page banners and one native unit. The units sit in the page flow and do not cover buttons. Visitors in the EEA, the UK, Switzerland, and visitors whose country we cannot tell do not get those units until they allow Advertising. Visitors elsewhere get them straight away, and can turn them off in Cookie settings. We do not send your account email to Adsterra.
Optional cookies stay off until you choose them. Use the banner, or Cookie settings in the footer, at any time. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, we treat optional cookies as refused.
In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, Google requires a certified consent tool for personalised ads. We load Google Funding Choices for that. The on-site banner is how you accept or refuse analytics and advertising cookies, and Google ads stay off unless you accept advertising. In the EEA, the UK, Switzerland, and when the country is unknown, that same choice also gates in-page Adsterra units. Elsewhere those units can load before a choice. Accepting Advertising mounts them without a reload.
We publish an ads.txt file so ad buyers can check that Google is authorised to sell ads on this Site. It lists our Google AdSense publisher ID.
Hosting, images, analytics, and ads may involve these providers (see Privacy for details):
Use Cookie settings in the footer at any time. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies. Blocking the sign-in cookie means you will not stay logged in. You can sign out from Account to drop the session on this device. Blocking analytics or advertising cookies does not stop the game. Google also offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics.
We may update this notice if we add or remove cookies. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
